Color the year
It’s been a while…one month exactly, since I’ve posted. Well, Ive been doing a little rebuilding of this blog after a horrendous meltdown slightly less destructive than Chernobyl. as well as a little more research and pondering about this subject. As we approach 2012, and we prepare to kiss our backsides goodbye, because as you know, the Earth is going to utterly self-destruct, with the new year I like to pick a color of the year.
Well, I think that’s getting a little lame. So I’m going to step it up, and pick my color scheme of the year.
I can already see this across all kinds of applications. Car ads, food lables, web design, etc etc.
It can be daring and bold or subtle and elegant and great for all seasons.
Color being one of the strongest communication devices for a design, various combinations of these, choice of fonts, and shapes can really alter the voice of this combination. I’ll give some examples in the next post.
